How to get to Elba Island

Elba Island can be reached by boarding at Piombino Marittima, where three shipping companies (Toremar, Blu Navy and Moby Lines) operate comfortable ferries that run several times a day. In just one hour, you can cover the approximately 10 kilometres that separate the island from the mainland, reaching the ports of Portoferraio (the main port), Cavo and Rio Marina.

Alternatively, there is a fast hydrofoil connection for passengers only, which reaches Portoferraio in just 35 minutes.

Please note that with our ferry booking system, you can check availability and routes, compare fares and book online with a 20% discount and without paying booking fees.
